Has some sort of sudden peace and stability broken out in the Middle East that I was unaware of?
Here in Ohio today, gas was $2.81
Friday (last time I bought gas) was $3.05
One week before that $3.28
Don't get me wrong, I ain't complaining. Happy to have it and hopefully it will hold for "the big gas suck" of trailering to The Challenge.
Certainly, there will be some "event" that causes prices to increase before Thanksgiving travel.
Damn it...I missed the spacing error in the title.
They say that spacing errors are going to drive the gas prices back up.

Just paid $3.87 for diesel.
No idea, don't pay attention to the price.
Only the trip mileage and gallons put in.
Haven't stopped at a gas station in over a month.
I'm actually semi-convinced that my decision to purchase an electric car will single-handedly cause gas prices to drop to 1998 levels, and make automakers come up with infinite mileage cars for rock bottom prices at the same time.
Maybe they are trying to unload some stock of summer blended gas before the cold weather hits.
We are at $1.12/liter right now, down from $1.40ish at the height of summer.
In reply to bastomatic:
You have my deepest thanks for your purchase!
Would you also consider buying a plow truck so that we can have no snow this year?
Been around $3 here lately, for several weeks anyways.

$3.29 here at the moment. Seems to be plummeting, though.
It'll be nice if it stays "cheap" for the winter while our cars are getting crap mileage on winter blend gas.
I hope it stays cheap.. makes it less wallet puckering to fill up the Landy
God, I can't wait to get back to the states
We're down to about $2.00 a liter here. The other day I told the attendant "Just $100 please"
I got just over 3/4 of a tank
Iranian nuclear negotations? If they can reach a deal and Iran starts selling oil to the US (and much of the world) again, everyone else is going to have a very uncompetitive price unless they drop them...
Edit: Also Syrian chemical weapons deal. Once reached, the genocide and holodomor can safely continue with no threat of war while the rest of the world whistles and looks the other way.
Indy was 3.14 when I left. It was 2.84-2.94 through KY, TN, MS and part of AL. Then it went up to 3.09-3.17 through the rest of AL and it's 3.30 in FL.

Can you go out for a steak tonight? I'd really like the price of a steak dinner to drop by the weekend......

I just got 87 octane at $3.1x. I was really surprised when I pasted the 20 gallon mark and how far away I was from the $100 mark. Stupid 14.9 mpg with winter blend and F150...
2.77 here. Filled one tank on the truck up for under $50.
The Focus was filled for just over $30.
$2.96 for regular in Milwaukee this am.
$2.98 in SW Ohio this morning. Reminds me of College days, where $20 could actually last more than a week...

I think its just winter blend getting tossed in already......I noticed my sho ran like E36 M3 when I filled it up friday night. It doesn't like any ethanol in fuel as is, and it especially hates winter blend.
Our prices are still $3.19 too.....
I hear it's likely to head back up in the next couple of weeks.
I don't know if it's a planned "crisis" or they are just expecting some excuse to pop up.

prices are set by some combination of speculation of demand out into the future and some sort of black magic formula that is controlled by our reptilian Illuminati Freemason Build-a-Burger overlords..
