Whats one more scratch or small dent in a truck used to off-road and bush beating. Maybe next time they will think of parking better as they squeeze to get in their car. I could park that Blazer in anyplace it would fit, Parallel parking or just pulling/backing in. Suprised myself a few times.

I'm gonna start doing that when I get bull bars on the Samurai...which comes in really handy when you live in the mecca of bad parking. If someone blocks me in, I can get to the driver's seat through the back of the vehicle. Not like the AE92 where I have to either do "the dukes of hazzard" or "the contortionist" to get in my car. One time I had to do "the contortionist" at University and a bunch of idle onlookers cheered when I finally got in. One time a long-ass van parked so close to me I had to do "the Austin Powers" with the AE92 for literally 15 minutes to get out of the spot.

I recall a story from the HAMB. Someone's dad was a bodyman who was driving a 56 Chevy. While fiddling around in the parking lot and person pulls in quite crappily, gets out, and bashes into the Chevy's door, denting it. The genius looks at the chevy and says "what ever. Its an old car.

The bodyman looks at the dude, gets in the 56, and proceeds to use his legs smash the now dented door into the turds new car. Smashing the door, repeatedly, until it starts to curl around it's self, he looks at wonderboy and says, "Yep. Its and old car, but I can fix my door."

My mom is an excellent driver, and has never been in an accident... except in reverse. My mom has backed into/over:

-The garage door

-the basketball pole

-bicycles

-my ATV

-my uncle's Buick

-my brother's F150

and my favorite: Sheriff McAndrew's personal car IN A CHURCH PARKING LOT.

I'm glad i'm not the only one who does that. I had a 90 full size bronco and an 84ish E-150 I did that with. Bronco rarely had the top on and the van's rear doors were plenty easy to get out of.

I used to do that as well when I drove beat up trucks... park on or over the line and I would intentionally put the truck so close to the door they'd need a can opener to get in... or at best, crawl through the passenger side... Of course, I'm sure I was the one who was a prick...

My parallel parking skills are respectable as well, although I've never had to park with a trailer. Just takes practice and a reasonably good idea of where your corners are.

Well that is a well known fact. The driving exam and everything around getting your license is way way too easy. Easier to get a license than to get a credit card.

I have see way too many stupids on the roads that do not belong. My big pet peeve is seeing people who cannot park their cars in the spot so they are on the line or hanging over. Take extra 2 seconds to fix your parking so that the person looking for a spot can also park. Seriously TWO SECONDS! Put it in reverse, fix your parking, put it in drive and pull back in. Not that hard.
