Time to get off my heine and start my latest project that is sitting in the garage. It has been a while and last I used photobucket (young kids hiatus).
What is the best hosting platform to use for build photos? Trying to keep myself honest by posting progress. Project is a 05 GSXR 600 track bike starting from a $500 theft recovery.
This website has hosting included. I'm not sure if you can hotlink to other forums but in your build thread just click the moon mountain box, upload tab, add an image, wait a bit, then OK. See I just did it to show you. That's like imageception

You can now upload photos right to the forum. Just drag and drop.
You can upload straight to the forum. Click the image icon and go to the "Upload" tab.
I like using Imgur because I can resize images easily if they are too big by changing the last letter in the image address.
E.g.
racetruck_.jpg is the raw file
racetruck_h.jpg (h for huge) slighty smaller than raw
racetruck_l.jpg (l for large) smaller yet
I think m for medium works and there's a couple other shortcuts for even smaller photos.

Hey, that's cool! I didn't know we had that feature available.

Copy/paste also works; if you copy an image from another site and paste it in here, it will hotlink to it, whereas if you copy image data from photoshop/paint into here, it will upload it directly to the forum's image hosting. At least, I think that's what happens.
Mind is blown. That makes it so nice to do.
