This Lotus didn't run but it looked great. When I got there another Lotus was parked nose to nose with it. From a distance it appeared to be an Exige. Unfortunately the only picture I got was from too far away and too blurry to post.
It was good to see a guy bring his show quality 1947 MG-TC to race.
Watching some very hard driven Miatas made me want one worse than ever.
IMO this was one of the best driven cars at the event. One of those scenes where you expect the driver to ruin a group of cones but smoothly trail brakes and arcs into the gate. Very impressive.
This Integra looked like it just emerged from the Restoration Shop. Everything was immaculate.
As usual, Civics were well represented.
I love Capris, and this one was well restored and modified to be enjoyed in competition. It runs a 302 as well as modified suspension and brakes.
This Cobra replica didn't run but it was picture worthy for sure.
This was a very good looking and fast car.
Not a good picture but this thing was very fast and handled great. I never got to talk to the owner but I wanted to see the engine. It made sounds like spinning triangles. Especially when he decelerated.
This Morgan didn't run but it was gorgeous.
I talked to the young man who drove this "Extreme" S10 V6 auto. He said all that he did to it was lower it with a kit. It may have understeer a little but seemed to handle very well and never hiked a corner off the pavement. It interested me because I've been thinking about doing something similar.
No surprise but this Supra had lot's and lot's of power.
This S2000 revved so high is was scary, very quick.
This fast Mustang appears to be a Shelby GT500 but I'm not sure.
It's been a long time since I've attended an autoX and really enjoyed this one. I've got the itch again . . . you know, the itch!
The parking lot was between the oval and the dragstrip and offered plenty of room for a large course. The only disappointment for me was I was hoping that some Mod cars and F125 karts would show up. I've got a lot more pictures but I posted the ones that I really liked.
