I just had a patient give a few hundred slides he was getting rid of today.  He is in older guy, and is a racer from way back.  He already gave me a CD with a lot of the pictures on it, but It occurs to me that the SCCA might have some interest in the slides, as the photos are 1960's SCCA events, taken at Laguna Seca, Crows Landing, Cotati and Stockton in the 1960s.  Back in the day, you could pretty much sit right next to the track.

Is there a racing historian or something with SCCA that would want these?  He was going to throw them away, and there is no way I was going to let that happen.

The motor racing museum/library is in Watkins Glen, NY. (Can't remember the correct name of the orgainzation).

I think SCCA donated a lot of old documentation to them, knowing it would be preserved.
