Due to the recent economic woes, I'm also accepting Euros.

Haha...add Fox body (V8) Mustangs to the list.

I'm going to buy a friends car once he gets a replacement, which WILL be a V8 Fox (says he). So today he calls me up and goes on and on about this Mustang on CL, and we decided to meet after work and go pick it up. I saw it a few days ago on there, so I was pretty surprised that it was still around (it was cheap).

Anyway, he called me on my way home to tell me that the guy sold it...LOL... This friend of mine is one of those sort-of dumbass friends, so it's not TOO surprising that he thought the guy would actually hold it.

Deals - you have to MOVE on 'em! With the way things are in the economy now, people are selling stuff because they NEED the money - first person to plunk down the duckets wins!

Welll I believe I found one. It is not running, the transmission is in the wrong part of the car (trunk), interior is in shambles, but it is exactly what I need for a challenge car.

I'd be ditching most of the interior to sell, going to attempt and but a 4.8L LSx based GM truck motor in it, etc.

Picking it up Sunday for a whooping $150!

When I sell things, not just car things, on craigslist etc.. I hold things for people in the order that they express their interest for me. I then work down the list one after another as the people always FAIL to show up. It takes a long time, but I don't think I could do it any other way. I'm not that scummy of a guy.

I once drove 3 hours to pick up a set of pistons from a guy who, once I got there and knocked on his door, looked at me from the second floor window and refused to answer the door. called his number and he answers and says "oh, no you have the wrong number." from the number that he called me on 6 or 7 times prior. I never wanted to E36 M3 on someone's front steps so bad in my life.

My favorite, a Hamilton, was never a president. Nor was Benjamin.
