Oh, ok. I figured we werent frended because i pretty much never see anybody on.
In reply to BobOfTheFuture: I'm usually on late at night after work or mid evening on my nights off.....after the kids are asleep. Trying to play online when there's 5 kids and SWMBO around is not a wise idea LOL!
Haha, I bet. Well next time your on and you see me, send me an invite. I make a ITC- style corvair too. Its not legal for ITC, the motor is too big, but we can still race em.
OOOH I see dueling Corvairs ahead! I'm up for tomorrow night (3-29) as soon as the kinder are aslumber. Prolly 8 PM PST. I know you guys are on sooner so I'll catch the tail end of whatever.
I'd be down for Dueling Corvairs!! Yeah, not VITP, but way cool. I'll probably have to get out of the lobby & go build, though.

And an IT7 car, and an FP car, and..where the hell else does this wonderful thing with the magic triangles run? GT-2 or 3? Yummy stuff. Heck, the only reason I started the thing was to make Forza more like real racing..

My corvair was set up for the ITC class before i knew the motor was too big, +an adjustable trans. Im down to race em, Id say we do E250 and the general IT rules(no motor, turbo, etc). Is the trans legal? Id guess not...
I think the trans upgraded one step (street I think) is adjustable for the rear diff ratio only. The Sport or race trans has all the gears adjustable.
3:55 is just about perfect with the stock 4 spd
The street is on a short throw shifter and fluid change. The sport is the adjustable final drive ratio.
Ah, okay.
Just checked and available rear diff ratios are 4:11, 3:27 and 3:55 for the 1:1 scale cars.
So depending on whether or not we can run an adjustable rear diff. The above mentioned are stock gear ratios for '66-'69 Corvairs. There may be others though?

True. And I should have known that! Brian Haupt's daughter is actually an old corner worker buddy of mine. Her husband won EP in one at the 2011 Runoffs..she drives too, these days, but went off in the rain early on.

Yeah, Meridith Haupt married Justin Pritchard. And a thousand men looking for women who love racing had their hearts broken.
