I'm sure there are some airplane guys on here that would like this show. The Stearman episode it especially good.

In reply to Woody :
No, there is a Netflix show that chronicles restorations of old planes. You know, done by guys waaaay too much money.
I would be into it but don't have Netfilx.
Perhaps they can replace one of those 14 car builder shows they have on now with a plane one?

I enjoyed the Hawker Hurricane episode. Little known fact - my grandparents used to build them. Not in their back shed or anything stupid. They met at the Canada Car during WW2 where they were building Hurricanes. Grampa's lungs were too borked up to go overseas, so he worked at the plant.
Apparently Gramma could lay a bead of weld that would make the angels weep. Too bad it's not hereditary.

Thanks. I liked Airplane Repo, but I think I will like this even better.

Airplane Repo is interesting in that it has a lot of plane stuff in it, ridiculous in how contrived it is and frankly dangerous in how it essentially shows people how to break into airports.

Great Grandma built C-54s at Douglas' Park Ridge (now O'Hare) plant. Rosie the Riveter was international.

Yes it was. It's a shame that most of the women then ended up leaving the skilled trades after the war. It was a different time for sure, but something something glass ceiling feminism current skilled trades deficit etc.....

It's like one *insert crummy fast food meal* per month.
I bet there is a free trial you could use to just watch said series.
There was a show once (Nat Geo?) father & son building a P-51. Biggest impression on me was a machine you type something on, then feed wire through it and what you typed comes out every 6" along the wire; Tach +, Panel Light GRND etc.
How could that not be helpful with a car project?
But with the SEMA builds, it's somewhat safer if the wings fall off when the build is on the trailer...
