I bought my 2005 Scion xB a little over two years ago. It came with stock steelies and hubcaps.
I hate hubcaps!
I did some rooting around on the interwebz and learned that OEM MINI Cooper wheels are, for all intents and purposes, a direct fit on Scion xB. The tire sizes are close enough:
Scion xB: 185/60R15
MINI Cooper: 175/65R15
So I hopped on Craigslist and found a nice set of wheels and tires for dirt cheap. I bought them and bolted them on.
Then I found another set. And another.
Now my shed is full. 12 sets - yes, 48 wheels, all with tires. I'll never use them up, at least not before the tires die from old age.
Someone please help me!
Turn them into a table, Top Gear style.

If they're worth $200 a set you've got a Challenge car if you flog them all. Get on CL and start flogging.
If you're married to someone who likes to say "no" when you want to buy something, this is a great way to work around the rule. Just keep accumulating little things here and there until suddenly you've got project-car money.
I would buy a couple sets for 200 each depending on the tires.
Where are you located?

About 2000 miles from Atlanta! LOL
Now you just need to start buying cars to fit your wheels.
Guess what: all those wheels also fit Miatas.
I have also stockpiled Miata fitment wheels and in my case snow and rally tires. I'm not quite up to twelve sets though, I think I only have around eight.
My wife's car was strategically purchased such that it can also benefit from my stockpile.

Got anything decent in a 15x8 or so?
I have at least 12 sets of 4x100 wheels, but I've got 4 cars to use them on. Evan, you just need more cars. Stop wasting our valuable time with questions that have such simple solutions. Now, go find 3 more cars and spend less than you did for all those wheels and tires. There is always a GRM solution.
I feel like a rank amateur. I only have 3 spare sets, soon to be four.
Ready for the worst part?
5 cars.
4 different bolt patterns.
Does this count for "I win at life?"
Huh... I thought I was bad with a set 3 sets for the Mustang, two of which see no use (one of which has perfectly good RA1s).
I have 2 sets of spare wheels/tires that don't fit any of the 4 cars I own...
I only have 2 spare sets of wheels and one set of tires with no wheels.
If I was smart I would have purchased my winter beater for my 4x100 wheels with snow tires. Of course I'm not and I got a Volvo.

For the record, the MINI Cooper wheel specs:
15x5.5
45mm offset
4x100 bolt pattern
56.1mm centerbore
14-16lbs.
So, they're essentially useless for any sort of performance application.
I'm sure I can offload them to wannabes, though. They'll fit about a zillon cars.
I have 4 sets of wheels and tires for the racecar. 4.5 sets of wheels for my RX7. I have the wheels that are on my daily driver and 6 random wheels that dont match anything.
The ones that don't match anything have come in handy repeatedle with friends cars. They mess up a wheel or get a flat, I come save teh day!

I've been looking for a set of these if you have any you want to sell.
EDIT: of course I should probably look for something a little wider to put my 205 Azenis on.

That set is the holy grail, the one I keep looking for. It's the lightest of the MINI wheels, at something like 12.7lbs.

2000mi from ATL is where exactly? I need to replace the S-lights on my wife's cooper S that she's destroyed. I do believe 15's will clear.
Also, I only have 3 spare sets of wheels too.Fortunately, 2 cars are 4x100, and two are 5x114. Now that stupid Taurus....

I know exactly how you feel.
Let me see, 24 cars, all with 5 wheels, at least 20 sets of other rims around. Only two sets that don't fit onto at least one of the cars though.
Then there is another 34 tires not mounted onto anything at this time, 8 of which i don't have any wheels in that diameter.
Hell, I have 6 full sets of Triumph Stag wheels and tires and not one running Stag.

24 cars!!!!!?? I didn't think that was possible, how big is your yard?
P.S. I'll take the GTV6 if you still have it...
Dream on Josh, dream on
Stay tuned for an update on that one soon
Oh yeah and a bus/rv also, 7 more rims and tires
