The wife and a friend wanted to play last Saturday. I figured I could have a cigar as they played around the historic area of St Charles, MO. It has a club district just next to the historic. Late at night only the club end is bustling. We got there and there were cars lining the streets of the historic area. Hundreds of young adults out and it was hilarious. I enjoyed the people watching and the cigar. I rate it five stars. Would do again.
Got my 100km walked medal yesterday. Kids are over 80.
I was on my boat until about 11pm last Saturday. I launch from a park, which is right down the street from my house.
When I returned from my aquatic adventure, the park was packed--- cars parked all over the place. I was barely able to find the room to back my trailer up to the boat ramp--- nearly hit a few cars, as they didn't leave me much space. I managed to get the trailer through the maze, and loaded up my boat.
As I was leaving I saw a few 20-somethings heading to their car. I asked what was going on.....why was the park so packed. Pokemon Go---- I guess the park is a Pokestop, or a sanctuary for imaginary cartoon-like creatures. It wasn't until then that I noticed all the people shuffling around with their heads in their devices. Strange phenomenon---- but if people are having fun, more power to them.
I do wish they'd leave me more room next time though.....
Spotted in a hallway at work today. I love scientists with a sense of humor!
