I for one will miss his motivational words.
Rest in Peace Sheikie Baby!
Hope you get all the green medicine you want in heaven, and don't forget Nicolai Volkoff still owes you money, time to collect!
And remember, Hogan never gave you a rematch because he was scared, berkeley that Jabroni.
Mentioned this in another thread, the dude was actually a fairly decent amateur wrestler. He was an assistant coach/trainer for two US Olympic squads.
This thread tag gave me the best laugh I've had in days. Thanks for the show Sheik, berkeley those Jabronis.
They just aired a documentary about him last week. He was right in the wheelhouse when I was into it.
RIP

Joe (his real name) and The Sheik were actually friends in real life, and with Joe living up the street, I've met him a number of times, he was crazy in real life, but also a great guy.
Ugh. For someone whole stole their entire gimmick, I guess I can give him some credit for being entertaining, even if he was just copying the one true Sheik, Sabus uncle, Ed Farhat.
Not a wrestling fan, but enjoy wresting docs and such.
Recently watched one on A&E and it was really cool. Neat to see his upbringing, what pushed him away from Iran (? right?) and what he did here in the states. How he fell, but recovered and kept his family together in the end.
