Borrowed from the father in law to build the patio. Diesel 4WD, fun little thing. His big tractors wouldn't have fit on the site.

When we borrowed a skid steer from Janel's work to do gravel, I wasn't allowed to drive it. I guess it looked like more fun, so she played the "I work in construction" card.

I said stuck, I said nothing about flipping the buggers over. That's relativity easy.

Those little Yanmars are tough as nails and can be found surprisingly cheap.

I got message from my sister suggesting I take my nephew to go play with some equipment at a new park opening up in Jersey.

No online pictures but I spent a couple of hours in my Northern Tools Jinma diesel tractor moving trailers and putting away the winter attachments (snowblower, blade) and breaking out the summer ones (mower, forks). Hopefully in the next couple of weeks I'll get the bucket converted over to use skid loader quick attach stuff and can use the 3-point forklift on the Farmall at my Mom's. Forks at both ends will be awesome for moving large quantities of stuff.

Bought a set of skidsteer quick attach forks for my tractor this weekend. I think I'm in love.

So glad I opted for the quick attach system when I bought the tractor. I can swap bucket/fork/snowplow in seconds. Want a quick hitch setup for the rear now.

In reply to DaveEstey:

The new Massey we bought finally has that setup as well, cheaper attachments for sure. We have the bucket, forks, and a hitch reciever for tending trailers/wagons around and backing them into barns easier.

Its no longer a pain to switch.

It's all about the right tool for the job. The big tractors my FIL owns wouldn't have fit in my job site.

I think 2 tons is enough tractor for me.

Remember the John Deere commercials where the homeowner is using a full size track hoe to plant a tree, and move his neighbors car? Funny stuff

Monroe made a tiny 444 Bobcat. Its less than 3 ft wide. You can laugh all you want, but hydraulics trumps wheelbarrows and shovels any day off the week.

Please tell me more about putting a ski boat in the back of a van. Boat ramp stories are freaking hilarious. A very busy south florida boat ramp I frequented often would actually have locals perched up on a hill drinking beer watching all the shenanigans transpire at the ramp. If I lived near the water and I didn't have a boat or better yet a friend with a boat, I'd probably go to the ramp with some beers and laugh life like I was at a comedy show

I was doing transmission and prop testing for a wakeboard boat company and I was swapping transmissions so much I never bothered to adjust the timing on the shifter.

I was coming in and put it in reverse to walk the stern over and was trying to go to neutral while turning the wheel. I smacked the throttle and it jumped from reverse to full power forward, skipping over the safety lock out.

This particular setup would do 0-30 in under 2 seconds.

It jump forward over the bow attachment pole sticking a pickle through the back glass of the E-250 tow vehicle.

A very loud berkeley was heard all over the lake. Still had my job after that but I didn't skip the timing anymore.
