Does anyone have any idea what to list these 3 engines for?

The first one is a 440 pulled from a 1981 class A RV. Still has the 727 bolted to it. I've never seen it run, don't even know if it turns free or not. The 727 appears to have a slip yoke on it but it may be a weird one that normal car people won't use.

The second is an uknown year Oldsmobile 350, never seen it run, turned free last I checked. Has an Performer intake on it but looks otherwise stock. Previous owner claimed it wouldn't hold oil pressure after a fresh rebuild.

Last one is an unknown year Chevy 350. I don't remember the numbers but I remember the last time I looked them up they were about the most generic casting numbers possible on a small block Chevy. Engine ran once under my watch for about 5 minutes 2 years ago.

Also, what are 700R4 and TH350 cores worth? I have one of each.

Thanks in advance, I can get casting numbers and pictures when I get home tomorrow if anybody thinks that'll help them get a better answer.

In reply to Daylan C :

Asking prices vary pretty wildly around here, but an SBC should be somewhere around $150-$250. I've bought a good 700r4 for $75 before, and I've seen people asking $150 for cores. Around here people seem to ask more for a Turbo 350, but I'm not sure they actually sell for that. Are they truly more desireable?

I had a mess of TH350 cores for a while.

Couldn't give the damn things away, they all went for scrap after a while.

The numbers I had in my head were $2-300 for the Chevy 350 and $50 each on the transmissions I know probably need to be gone through. Looking to get things out of my way and hopefully make a bit of cash in the process rather than wring these things for every cent their worth if I'm honest.

$200 for an engine and $75 for a transmission seems pretty fair.

Is that "slip joint" on the 727 part of the ball and trunnion that Chrysler used up into the 60's?  My Valiant has one of those.

I bought a '70 Buick because I wanted the drivetrain, paid $500.  Engine ran well so I just painted it and installed.  That's fair if it runs, 350? Get what you can.

I would poke around a Mopar forum for value of the 440 , you don't want to screw anyone but don't sell it short either.

No it had a tail shaft mounted parking brake. So it's not that but I don't think it's a standard spline either.

I think I had to settle on $20-30 on a broken 700R4 I had for sale for a while.  Better than scrap value, I guess.
