Nice work.  This is a skill I would like to acquire one day. 

Is the rest of the Boxster also single stage paint?

I've got a 330ci in need of a respray on the hood, if I could get away with single stage it would make my life easier

In the future for small stuff like that don't report it. the reason is my late wife used to park downtown and stuff like that was always happening. Once a year or so she'd report "stuff" even if it was 3 different corners and a door. Never had anything questioned. The  insurance company always paid ( I think they were pleased not to have to fill out 4-5 separate forms)

This one has single stage original paint. My other similar car had body work done at one point where it was sprayed with BC/CC and the clear coat is now failing where the original paint still looks good. I am far from an expert and most of what I know comes from watching YouTube and making mistakes.

There's always a chance that someday he'll be able to buy more cars again. Whether it's from selling off a few, or buying more land, we'll never know.
