I have just become aware of this.
We don't drink enough or entertain enough to justify building one of those. In spite of this I've now added another item to my want list.
just add an extra garage bay for one with a metal overhead door that opens to the back yard, much cooler imho.

That's what she said, but how do you feel about it?
And thus the inspiration for Arthur "Two Sheds" Jackson!

Depending on your electric load, you could easily power it on a heavy extension cable. My hesitation is any kind of plumbing. But I do want one.

If you aren't washing dishes out there, couldn't you use a water safe drinking hose to feed a small sink, with the drain just going to a french drain behind the shed?
this is a strange time we live in: people have to park outside and don't have anywhere to work on their cars because garages are now "man caves" and people won't have any place to put their lawn mowers and shovels and what not because sheds are becoming bars...

It's because many of us are married to women who control the entire interior design and are being pushed to make our nests outside. I say down with this forced exile! (assuming my wife says it's OK )

maybe "many of us" need to grow a backbone and take over part of the house..
back in the 70's and 80's, my grandparents had a huge basement that was set up like a bar- complete with genuine beer signs like you'd see in bars- they had many parties down there and many alcoholic beverages were consumed by many people and a good time was had by all.. my mom and dad were married down there, and they had a reception immediately thereafter...
during the summer, it was generally moved out to the patio to hang out and have fun..
back then, the garage was for parking on and working on cars and the shed was for parking the lawn mower and other yardworking tools..

why not just make it a drive-in bar?
Just park one of these in any space and it becomes a pub! Shed, garage... parking lot outside of work ;)
