Pull A Part has changed their website. My favorite search has always been for e30's. You could search and see every 3 series, the year and row. Now you have to enter what year you're looking for. Really? I now have to do a separate search for each year 3 series? Bozo's.
The problem is that 80% of the customers don't want to know there entire inventory of 3 series cars and have not clue as to what is interchangeable with what so to save them self a lot of returned parts and a lot of questions they are making people look up thing in a "non interchange" format for there cars.
A PITA for the car guy but I can see why they are doing it.
I totally get why they're doing it. But they should have "search all years" choice as well as individual years. I quit searching a yard very close to my work due to this type of issue. Heck, they even wanted to know what "part" you were looking for.
I just tried it and it gave me a heading for the year I put in and below that a listing of cars that might have interchange parts.
I still prefer to wander the rows. You never know what you might find.
Not too bad IMO . . . It atill gave me a list of all 3ers they have one the yard. It even gave info of engine and trans . . . If they can keep it correct, it would be great. The scavengers would still whip the parts up anyway . . .
I'm just pissed there's not one of these within an hours ride from the house.
I'm just ticked that the "Pittsburgh coming spring 2015" changed to "Pittsburgh coming soon"
