Where are the brakes? What type? How are they actuated?
The Buick has a foot brake which is a contracting band brake built into the transmission and a hand brake connected to drum brakes in the rear wheels.
The REO has a foot brake connected to a pair of contracting band brakes on the rear wheels. The foot brake is also the parking brake. You push the foot brake to the left to engage a ratchet which locks the pedal in place.
