So my fiance is going to India for a month for an internship she won through school. She's going to need an adapter and converter for the trip to run her computer, camera charger, etc., but everything I've found so far has gotten mixed reviews. Can anyone suggest a quality unit for a reasonable price?

A lot of electronic devices don't need converters, just adapters. This is usually the case for things with power supply units (like computers, chargers, etc.). Most of those have a voltage and amperage range they can handle. Find out what they use in India, to see if her stuff will work.
You usually need a power adapter for the simpler electrical devices like hair dryers, electric razors, etc. Those things will be killed by improper voltage.
I just got fairly simple ones at Fry's that I've been using with good luck out here in Europe.

India uses 220/ 50cy. Different plugs than here. I suggest contacting the computer mfg to see if they have a power supply for that voltage. Most of the computer based equipment I work with will do just fine on 50cy. Voltage is a function of the power supply.
Good call. I didn't think about the fact that just about everything with a power supply already has a voltage converter.
For the small electric stuff - I wonder if it might not be cheaper just to get one there and ditch it before coming home than to get the voltage converter...
