I am gonna try out some Merrells after reading this thread. I need some new work shoes, The Nike shoes I had fell the berk apart after 6 months.

I'll totally second that. I had a pair or two of the Chinese-made Docs, and they just aren't the same--slow to break-in, quick to wear out. They're still selling the English ones, and the price premium is totally worth it. If I'm not wearing Vans, I'm wearing Docs.

New Balance 890 Badelays- Though they are NOT dressy. Mine are "neon vomit" colored. You know how all the running shoes are out there super gaudy now? I started that trend. I REALLY like my Etnies too, seem to be one of the last well made skate shoes out there.
