"Hawking" is the term used for selling beer, hotdogs, etc. in the stands at a sporting event. I tried to figure out a way to put it in the name of a sports bar, but it doesn't roll off the tongue and it's not easily identifiable as sports related. Maybe someone has an idea of how to use it? I like the idea, just not the word.

With 'hawk-tuah' having entered the vernacular, a name like 'Hawkers' could be easily misconstrued in a way that probably won't help attract many non-male customers.

The whitewater rafting is fantastic, but it's primarily a tourist and youth crowd. Plus, it's surrounded by bars and clubs.
Those places are her competitors.
She's a bit out of town. She wants local repeat patrons. Country folk. "Rednecks".
If they know they're rednecks, embrace it.

An even better reason to not like the word. Any other names for a beer vendor at a sporting event? People usually just yell "Hey Beer Man," which would be a cool name, but maybe not one to attract women.
Title IX gets the female sports thing across pretty well.
How about just using their last name?
Sam 'n Ella's is the perfect name for any establishment where food is served.
Benchwarmer's: for those who watch the game
Football and BBQ: PigSkins
I was considering suggesting names like Bear Bryant's as an homage to local Royalty. That made me think maybe dedicated to more recent Royalty; Saban's. This then leads me to maybe some interior artwork that honors multiple royalty from multiple schools. This place that honors coaches could be Coach's Corner or just Coach's. I'm sure in Georgia there would be no conflict with the image of Don Cherry and the Hockey Night in Canada segment called Coach's Corner

Coach's is a cool name. There are several famous coaches from the various schools in Alabama!
I was thinking about the equivalent to naming a downtown bar 'The Office'. Seem to me that would be 'The Field'... Which also works for sports too.

Or "The Game".
Oof, trying to write advertising slogans for that is rough.

I get where you are going, but this is farm country. It's hard for me to hear "The Field" without thinking about manure.

I have no problem with "fresh country air". I like it. I just don't want to think about food while I'm thinking about it. Haha!
Organized crime, college football.

There can be a fine line between clever and cutesy when naming something, so they should be careful not to cross that line...it needs to be something that won't wear out its welcome in a few months.

Buddy of mine wanted to open a brewpub that serves up beer and chili and basically nothing else and call it Gasworks, I suppose the same theme could apply to a sports bar maybe, but I gotta +1 Overtime.
