I've been offered a Lincoln SP-100T 10480 as partial trade on my gokart. Value?
My first welder was an SP100. Meh. It made steel stick together OK. If it comes with a bottle and regulator, much better. It is quite portable and runs on 110vac, which is a plus. Much better than an HF cheapy. Without bottle and reg, 100.00. With, 150-200.00
Without bottle, etc. Going to use it to spot weld the trim holes on the Javelin and weld in patch panels.
He offered $250 cash plus the welder, and the kart is worth $400-$450 but needs a little TLC.
Certainly the smallest Lincoln, better quality than off breed stuff. The posters above are pretty close, I'd say.
I'm going to take the deal. It's exactly the welder I need for the Javelin, I haven't ridden the kart in almost a year, and I need the cash for the 944.
I have an SP100-T and I love it. Its great for sheet metal and body work, but I've done heavier stuff too. I bought it refurbished approx 7 or 8 years ago for ~$370. With the bottle and regulator I was in it $500ish. So, you're getting a decent deal particularly if it includes the bottle / regulator / lid. Enjoy it!
