ehhhhhh back in '94 I watched that movie on campus at LSU. An audience full of wankers called out every single line before it was said in the movie. Worst big screen experience of my life. Educated wankers at that. Laughed on cue like a E36 M3ty broadcast of an NFL game where the commentary was a split second ahead of the action. Ruined it forever.
In reply to nutherjrfan : Watch it again, alone.
TMWKHATBF should be on a double feature with this: Iron Sky 2 - The Coming Race
Saw news that Neill Blomkamp is working on a Robocop sequel based on an '80s script so there could be even more competition coming.

Bump because I have just finished watching it.
I can say that it is definitely not what I expected.
It was good though, and I would recommend it.
so it appears it's online only or missing something? Fandango was no use. I have a pretty big chromebook. One of the biggest. But this is a movie dammit not some Mustang wiping out at cars and coffee.

online only until it hits the dvd bargain bin I assume, you can get it off google play or youtube for like 7 bucks
Best movie title of the decade, and it's not showing here? WTH?
Guys like Larry Miller seem to have found the Hollywood sweet spot. He's been a professional actor forever, and he's at a point where he consistently gets work. He's won some awards and has some notoriety, so he probably lives pretty comfortably, but he's not so huge that he has to deal with paparazzi and stalkers. The phone is ringing, he enjoys his work, he does ok financially, and he brings something to every role he's been in. You know him, you don't know his name. Sounds like my kinda gig.
Just bringing this back because I actually saw it.
General overall view: Not really the movie you may assume it is. It is not an wild over the top action filled movie. It actually downplays the action a lot. Well shot with some pretty good cinematography, it's essentially a film about a man looking back at his life and the regrets he has. It also has one of those semi-ambiguous endings that a lot of people hate (not really ambiguous, just a bit).
An interesting movie, with some interesting scenes and of course a wild (but presented more plausibly) premise.
The acting is good, and Larry Miller does a good job as the brother (I think he is supposed to be a bit slow, but it's subtle).

Which Hitler are you talking about?

1 Movie: a story or event recorded by a camera as a set of moving images and shown in a theater or on television; a motion picture. Not necessairly based in fact.
2 Documentary: a movie or a television or radio program that provides a factual record or report.
This was not a number 2.
Just watched it myself on PPV....interesting indie. Not what you might expect. At this stage in my life it was a bit close to home. Or at the very least in the next town over. I'm gonna watch it again before giving a full Siskel and Ebert.
Grizz...you're a bit young for this movie to have such an impact on you.

There is actualy no proof that is what happened to him.
Kung Fury killed Hitler, dumbasses.
Kung Furher is still alive. He time travels. Besides, the Bear Jew kills him in the theater.
It was interesting. My wife agreed to watch it with me due to Sam Elliott. I agree with cinematography and his reflection on life and civic duty. I liked the big brother/little brother story line and the character interaction between Sam and Larry. Its hard to recommend it but I enjoyed it if that makes sense.
We watched it as a family last night. Not a bad movie at all, but not what the trailer portrayed. I really was expecting more....action
