I'm not having too much luck finding a 3-row or more radiator that isn't breaking the bank.
Any suggestions on where to look for a 3500 454 86 gmc truck?

Can you make your own brackets? Speedway has a ton of generic aluminum radiators in the $110 to $249 range. I have one in my race car.
2row alum > 3plus row copper, especially if the alum doesn't have crimped on plastic endtanks.
You need the biggest area you can fit, more then additional rows.

I am not sure if I have ever seen a 3 core 100% aluminum radiator... even on the sprint cup cars.
Found one... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/New-3-Row-All-Aluminum-Radiator-V8-5-0-7-4-5-7-/400207451926?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year%3A1986%7CMake%3AGMC&hash=item5d2e391716
is about 20lbs right for this?
That shows what I know. I run a 25lb cap on the race car to raise the boiling point a bit just in case but 20 should be fine. IIRC my big honkin truck has a 16lb cap.
hah
I meant the weight of the product, not the pressure. ;p
As in, would 20lbs be about right for all aluminum 3 core.
