This is just some random stuff I think about sometimes. Like how the go to rear end is now the Ford 9in. Used to be everyone tried to stay make specific. Another thought I had was to build a small V8 using the overhead cam heads off of a small 4 banger. Weld up an aluminum block and use steel sleeves for cylinders. I worked most of this out at one time, including how to build a crankshaft. Next one is a device to be able to use an early ecu to control a ls engine with out using a distributor. I think i can get it small enough to put on the end of the cam and stay behind the water pump.

Smokey Yunick spent a lot of time making a Ford 9" look like a Chevy rearend on the Camaro he built for SCCA Trans-Am.

Not exactly on topic, but anyone else caught in the NOOK problem. I can't get my content unless it is in memory or buy new until they straighten things out on their end.

Have you heard of Synergy Power? https://www.synergypower.co.nz/

They make V8s out of bike engines. Here's one in a BRZ.

Going back to thinking about a 5 cylinder Colorado computer and MAF and drive by wire throttle body setup for the 10v Audi From Hell.
