I watched both halves of Kill Bill yesterday, and I had to laugh at myself. Following the Brides battle with the Crazy 88 and Lucy Liu, I'm irritated that she's on an airliner flying home with he sword in the seat beside her.

Right. That's the least believable thing in that movie...

Aside: I can't imagine how fit Uma must have been for the filming of that. There are lots of scenes with her, not stunt people, doing some really serious E36 M3.

The term for that is "Plot-Fu" but now that you mention it, WTH is up with taking the sword on the plane? I guess it was carry on as a priceless antique.

Are YOU going to tell her to surrender her sword?

I'm not.

Would you tell her she couldn't carry it on board?

The only part that made me WTF? was the part where she wakes up. Thinking about moving your big toe does not negate muscle atrophy.

...and punching your way out of a casket buried 6 feet? ..its a movie.

I think I remember many people with swords on the plane.

At a former job, a lot of us had to travel to the far east for work. One of the other guys got on a bus in Japan and noticed a sign that said i English, "no swords or corpses allowed on this bus."
