Need a good hose nozzle for general purpose light use around the brewery.

Want something industrial strength, with a rear valve lever that stays open (rather than a trigger than needs to be held down), and that you can vary the spray pattern, preferably by twisting an adjuster on the front.

We'd tried the nice ones like these, that are heavy duty. But we don't like the rear palm trigger because it doesn't just stay on, and the stream is a function of how far you pull the trigger.

We've been using garden hoses from the local store with a thumb lever trigger, and the twist adjustor for different spray patterns. Those work well initially, but quickly get beat up around the brewery.

Anything heavy duty recommendations to fit our needs?

Not a lever valve but I have one of these and like it. Rubber overmold so it doesn't get too beat up and the body is aluminum. The end twists to turn on/off and change the stream.

That style is my favorite and preferred by all the detail guys at the dealerships I have worked at.

I have one of these and its a tank.  Got tired of breaking E36 M3ty nozzles.  https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00E5SA10M/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_image?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Not rear lever, but it has a little hook thing at the bottom to hold the lever open.  Has the thing on the front to vary the pattern.  Not sure if you meant infinitely vary the pattern, or toggle between a variety of patterns.

Similar to Evan choice but. with Evan's the width of stream is determined by twisting but the quantity of flow can only be controlled at the spicket.   With this type, same twist to control width of stream but quantity of flow comes from adjustment of top handle.

This not a specific endorsement of this brand just a quickly found sample on Amazon

My assistant/cellarman is much more particular about these things than me. Just need to be able to vary the pattern *somehow* and have it stay that way. We use the ones that let you toggle between a variety. I'm fine with a hook or tab that holds a trigger open.

We've had poor luck with the top-handle kind. Too common for those to get caught on things and pulled open unexpectedly moving around the brewery.

Similar but thumb adjust rather than handle adjust.  Not sure if that's better or not.

I like the look of that. Looks like similar mechanism to what we use, but heavier duty construction.

I have one similar to the one John posted. It works well and I haven't destroyed it yet.

We’ve found that the old fashioned brass nozzles work the best and last the longest. The kind where you twist the front to control flow, pattern, and on or off.

The drahm 12380 is what we bought last, probably because it was cheap.

We own and operate a small vineyard. During harvest lots of 1000lb totes and hundreds of small 30lb bins need to be cleaned.

That style seems to be better than anything other than a commercial sized pressure washer. In our experience.
