Recommend to me a good pedometer

Any good ones out there? low-ish priced?

They don't last. The $5 walmart or target version bust off your belt. I've used them for years.

Some are not accurate and a good day of walking steps that doesn't track right involves you skipping it in anger across a walmart parking lot.

I have an old dial one from Boy Scouts. It gives you vague mileage.
