Once upon a time, late 60s early 70s it was a place where up and coming bands got play time. I was too young to get in but my brother and his buddy Fred were regulars. He told me about being the only ones in there to see some gangly red haired Brit named Rod Stewart. He sucked.

Fast forward way too many years....

The Antiques Roadshow came through Fred's Pennsylvania town so He whipped out a poster he bought at the Aerodrome in 1969. I don't know if it was a fourescent psychodelic one or a billboard for a band, but they appraised it.

TEN THOUSAND FRIKKIN DOLLARS !!!

Cool!

I know first-hand most of those posters are worth something. I found one in a local thrift-store years ago, it was ~10" round, for a place called the Kaliedescope in Cali. The concert was Canned Heat, Jefferson Airplane & the Dead. I put it on ebay several years ago, no one had ever seen one that was 10" most were either smaller or larger. It went pretty high, but nowhere near what your brother got!
