How do I remove Google contacts from a phone without deleting them from my account? I don't want my personal contacts on my work phone.
Not sure how to do it efficiently or easily if they're mingled.
You can just un-synch your personal google account from your work phone. My phone has both work and personal logged in (mostly so I get calendar notifications so I don't miss meetings)
If I log out of my work account, all my work contacts disappear. You can access all of that in settings. Just go to settings > accounts > then pick the account. You can sync or unsync, or remove the account entirely.
I think Curtis's suggestion is the best way. But I also don't have any work stuff on my phone since they don't pay for it. Well I have my boss's number, but I consider him a friend as well.
Other than that, no Slack, no work email, etc.
