The house I'm renting has a dirt driveway. It's north Florida sticky sand crap. When it rains it splashes up and sticks halfway up the bodywork of the car. It sticks to everything and getting all over the interior of the car. Plus im one of those freaks that like to keep my junk clean and dragging a hose around in this is miserable. I know im going to end up scratching the crap out if the paint. It's almost inevitable.
The landlord is not likely to allow me to do any permanent work like pavers or concrete.
Anybody got any ideas on a non permanent solution? It's really frustrating me.
Is moving to another property an option?

Not currently no.
Harbor freight portable garage?
Wouldn't do much to prevent mud around the vehicle, but should keep the rain from splashing it up onto the vehicles
Pavers or concrete could improve the value and rentability of the house. Can’t hurt to ask, particularly if you can ensure it’s installed well.
Roll an inch of crusher run on top? Cheap, Landlord may not notice.
Lay a couple sheets of drywall down to park on? It'll probably get broken & turn to muck quickly, but at least it's cheap & easy to replace.
How about a big square of astro turf?
I was thinking that actually.
I use 3/4 inch plywood sheets in my driveway. Three make a nice platform for almost anything. Exterior grade obviously.

I wonder if they'll allow that. Maybe covered with astro turf...
When my bathroom was remodeled, I used this on the floor before the tiles went down. Roll it on your plywood and you may triple its life.
You might be able to rake it smooth, rent a packer kinda smooth, add a layer of stones, pack them smooth, and then put down a layer of patio sealer.
Otherwise, maybe go old school 50s style and pour concrete in two strips then grass in between? You could form that much up with 2x6s, and a pair of 2' wide strips will only run @$10/foot in concrete. You probably won't be reimbursed by the landlord, but you won't be out a lot except time and done well it can look good.
I laid astroturf all over at the barn, it works great, just minor work to keep the weeds that popup around edges and holes. I got it free, old football field.
It is not cheap if you don't find it used. indoor/outdoor carpet same idea, can find that used sometimes also. Otherwise, gravel, don't get pea gravel get crushed rock, 3/8 so you can walk on it.

Crushed rock should be cheap and improve value.
Have used straw before in a pinch. If you put grass seed under it, it may actually grow a little and help.
