Anyone ever done this, specific vehicle is a 2000 Windstar with the passenger side power sliding door? It stopped working and the cable is hanging out from the track, I haven't pulled any interior panels yet to see exactly what is going on.

TIA.

I have been dreading that day since I bought my Venture. It hasn't arrived yet, but I feel for you. Good Luck

I have tangled with a power door on an E-150 a few times. Last time I just removed the whole mechanism and now it is in my garage and I have a manual sliding door that doesn't have a cable break or get stuck at the worst time possible.

I'll put it back in some day I figure, especially if I ever get around to improving it so it works for more than a year or two at a time.

I'm afraid your van is not worth the cost to repair. Time to trade it in on the Cash for Clunkers program.

Did the designers of the Flex think that MINI's were selling so well because they had white roofs?

Also, why doesn't Ford advertise the Flex more?
