The brains in F1 are looking at the past to define the future. Once-banned turbos and ground-effects are now considered (again) relevant for the "big show".

Could be good:

Thats awesome! 4 cylinder engines that have a smaller displacement than my car that puts out 5 times the power!
Will "ground effect" aero leave less turbulent air behind the car?
The whole problem with the show now is the following car can't get close enough in the corner to be able to get a good run down the straight to attempt a pass in the braking zone.

Anything that promotes passing would be a huge improvement. What was that thing they stuck on the old CART car wings, the Hanford device? Any chance F1 could try that out?
