Best Parts: "No mechanical problems"
"Financing available"
Probably belongs to the owner's son, relative, an employee. It's a slow day, roll it in, take some pics, roll it out, and put in the new Audi that's sitting outside. Right now the payments are only $17.23 a month

The ad does say salvage title.
I wouldn't call that "rice" - the only thing ricey are the clear corners. I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole - to me salvage title + no carpet = flood = run!!!

I hear you need to replace that with synthetic only.
Flat black paint job with a silver hood - that's reverse jdm-yo!

All the more reason to buy the dealer's extended warranty package!
All I can say is: it's just really sad that I live so far away, or I might be persuaded to buy this. Or maybe not. Depends on how much blinker fluid it goes thru...
What a loony thing to try to sell, even for a fleabay offering...
I wouldn't call it a ricer. It may be a borderline junker, but not a ricer. For a honda guy, that car is an icon, and a blank canvas. Besides, if it sells for anything less than $1500, you'd be buying the entire car for what the engine is worth.
It looks like even the door sills are crying too.
The lot boy there probably wonders why he has to mop under the car every hour....

this
...BUT--very strange to see it in an Audi showroom. PO must've stepped up to an old S4
When my sister was in HS the civic hatch was the "IT" car, you don't see many of them that haven't either been wrecked or riced. One day a clean civic hatch will command some money as there won't be any clean ones left.
Its the whole point of an old junker Civic in a Audi SHOWROOM. Well, I thought it was crazy. But yes, an EF was a great car, hence why I was looking on Ebay.

And it got your attention, posted it on this site, more people found out about it. Successful Advertising!! Who's crazy now?
In reply to Fletch1: I'm sure the Audi dealer will be glad to throw in some free oil changes for you.
At the very least, a ride in it would be nice. I have the feeling this car is going to go for low money. For the simple fact many, many people "of a certain age" have never dealt with a car dealer before, and may be a bit hesitant to deal with one. It's not the typical CL deal.
I think the boss must've taken the day off and one of the mechanics drove that in the showroom for the pics.
