I haven't either, but from the videos they linked here it looks like the Transformers doing heavy metal tunes with Frank Zappa type lyrics. Good Stuff.

From about '88 to '92, my "gag" metal band Candybar had the honor of opening for GWAR at the old 9:30 club in Washington, DC a number of times. Actually, one time they were appearing as "RAWG" - their un-costumed selves. I learned several things about GWAR.
The "blood" that gets sprayed all over is a mixture of corn syrup, red food coloring and water.
The....ummm..."white stuff" is non-dairy creamer, corn syrup and water.
GWAR was hands down the absolute worst smelling band I'd ever experienced, and by a wide margin. They surpassed the Crucifux, and were worse than a mob of Bleeker St crusty punks in front of CBGB in August. Imagine if you will, a porous rubber suit, sweated in nightly, sprayed with the above mentioned mixtures, and allowed to fester in the back of the un-air conditioned school bus in which they toured back then. Uggh.
Their commitment to their craft, and their schtick was commendable.
RIP, Mr. Flattus.
