RIP Joe Diffie

I'd be lying if I didn't say that Joe was part of the reason why I am, and always will be a Pickup Man

He had a lot of great songs. One lesser-known but very cool song is "Runnin' Wide Open" which was on a NASCAR-themed album I had on cassette tape as a kid.

Look, joe was never a sturgill or Tyler, but it hurts to lose him all the same. Rip Joe. 

If im not mistaken, and is certainly possible that I am,  I believe Joe had a very close call with some type of illness in the not to distant past. 

Either way,  RIP.

Third rock from the sun was always a fun one to listen to.  

I just wonder if he'll be leaned against the jukebox.

Alan Merrill, who wrote "I Love Rock and Roll"  has died of the virus, and John Prine is reported to be in critical condition.
