Kevin Conroy passed away today at the age of 66, following a brief battle with cancer. For those who don't know who he is, the guy has voiced Batman in most animated movies and TV shows, and video games since 1992. Pretty much, he was the voice of Batman for three straight decades.

RIP Batman/Bruce Wayne. Batman: The Animated Series was one of the shows that had a profound impact on my childhood. That was Batman at its finest, and it's in large part due to Kevin Conroy.

damn, he was Batman for a generation.
I AM BATMAN - one of his most iconic performances
Batman the animated series is one of the best animated tv shows of all time and I'm sure I'm saying that because of my age and when it came out. It definitely had an effect on my retro tastes as an adult. Consequently, Kevin Conroy will always be THE Batman for me. RIP.
RIP. TAS is going down in history as not just one of the greatest Batman-related things ever, but one of the best animated series of all time.

Only Batman could intimidate a hallucination.

He also still voiced elderly Bruce Wayne in the criminally underrated Batman: Beyond.
He also voiced former Batman Bruce Wayne in Batman Beyond/Batman of the Future, which is nipping at TAS' heels as a series and allowed him to flex some more acting range as Batman.
Edit: I need to stop having the same thoughts as everyone else

Batman Beyond was cool enough to make you forget the big brother from Boy Meets World was Batman.

Batman Beyond also veered into straight nightmare fuel at times. I remember there were episodes that scared the absolute E36 M3 out of me as a kid.

Absolutely underrated. It was great, too.
Man, I can hear his voice, even now.
He was the best Batman. Even showed up once live on an Arrowverse crossover as Bruce Wayne.
