Just a good all-around guy. Watch "The Americanization of Emily" sometime. It was his favorite role.
First rate guy for sure.....Really enjoyed "Gran Prix". He was a racer at heart and loved the Indy 500. Wish there were more folks like him.........RIP Mr Garner, you will be missed.

Very sad to see him go but he did what he loved and left us with some great memories. Thank you sir.

I'm a little surprised he made it to 84 (but glad he did). He had been in poor health for a while due to a long history of smoking.
