I know his name. Tower of Power was a local band for me. He grew up in my hometown of Sonora, California.
I know Tower of Power. Saw them at a USO show in Korea 1988. I was the only one of my crowd that had heard of them. That's because I was a former brass musician (trombone/bass trombone) and liked bands that used brass. Didn't know his name, honestly don't know any of their names but enjoy their music. Tower of Power did a lot of studio work, backup for a lot of well known singers and bands.
