Got back to Cleveland for the night, truck has a 1400lb car on the 3000lb trailer, drove through the PA mountains in the snow and ice to get here.
The F250 had no problems at all, however an F150 and a semi were not so lucky, the F150 was a bad one.
Engine wasn't lacking at any point, 6 speed auto probably aided this.
Had 4x4 engaged for a while, but went back to RWD to get the front end to turn in easier, still ran through those frozen hills like it was glued.
1400lb car??? Not quite what I thought you were getting, unless it's really rusty...
I am curious about this new vehicle.
Met with John for Curried Lamb and Martinis, life is good
Will, you need to head to the compound to see what it is.
In reply to nicksta:
Thanks, it was good to meet you and the other Knoxvillians.
I just arrived back. Uneventful drive, except the last hour was snowing and I thought I might run out of gas before I arrived home. Towing gas mileage was pretty bad, 13.2 mpg.
Back in area sfe and sound
Good to hear. Not the best choice in weather for a road trip, but sometimes you just can't be that lucky.
