For the last two weeks we have been getting as many as 5 calls a day inviting us to use a new Visa/ Master card processor. We tell them to take us off their list, press 2 to be deleted, no success. OK, this is not the biggest problem to deal with, but is damn irritating. I don't think I would like to be the live person on the other end. Anybody else getting this crap?
I could be mistaken and it could be dependent on your state, but I think there are laws against calling once your put on the "do not" list. They could face a healthy fine if reported.

"Hey, the 20th century called; they want their land line back."
Just drop your home phone and switch to cell phone only lifestyle.

...where you can get spammy texts for instant credit.
yeah cell phones aren't immune. Robo callers just dial every possible number and then start over again.

This is coming in on the business line, so I'm a bit leery of no call thing. Don't want to block the good calls.
We get the same thing on the shop business lines, on a bad day there will be more card processing calls than customer calls.
