I have that Magnetic Maverick, but I didn’t want to part with it. 

My oldest sister bought a brand new Maverick in 1970 or 1971. It had very minor damage in shipping. She said it was a hole in the passenger’s door panel, about the size of a pencil eraser. She paid less than two grand for it.

I was legit ready to go tramping all over town looking for actual Rock Auto trading magnet packs.

I have the V70R...but I also have a matching V70R, so it's not going anywhere!

I think we have a responsibility to get the right Rock Auto magnets to the people who need them.

Crap, was in the shop all day and forgot to take a pic of the magnets. Maybe I'll remember tomorrow...

No need for all that!

When I was a kid and the local CircleK would put out a new box of baseball cards, the news would spread through the neighborhood quickly.  It was the only place we could get cards without a grownup taking us to a store, or if we were REALLY lucky an actual card shop in Ft Worth.  Finding out I could order packs of the magnets gave me the same nerdy rush! 

Unfortunately the magnet packs dont come with stale bubble gum.

I think it's important that we get the right Rock Auto magnets to the people who need them.

There are so many cool ones out there!  Some of them I didn't even know I HAD to have until I saw them.

I actually took the photo about 3 months after he bought it. Here's the original photo from 13 years ago

Finally remembered to get a few pics of my collection, was surprised at the total, 67 magnets. Have a few duplicates though.
