I like Australians.
One day I will build a car with such obscene power that it will vaporize the rear tires at will. I will be happy.

I do know where there is an LS1 for your Miata... add a coupla turbos...
I agree...I want an obscenely fast car...able to defeat a horde of mosquitos on a single set of tires.
A mid engine rotary van. Cool. Looked sorta unstable, didn't it?
And for you non rotary guys, THAT is why you use headers made of .120 wall tubing.

Or an apex seal.
Felix Wankle is turning over in his grave...and fist pumping and shouting and dancing! WOO HOO!!! That's a great commercial for rotary awesomeness.

Too small.

At least when stock, those things actually have a pretty low center of gravity. They have a "skateboard" frame, all the mechanicals are below floor level, the cabin just sits on top.
There are plenty of those for sale around here...makes you think.
If I can't find a decent head for my Mitsubishi van I will be mounting a 13B in it. Of course it won't be capable of that sort of thing as mine will have to be an automatic, because I don't want to or have the capabilities of doing a manual swap. 4-port 13B should be pretty strong for a little van like that though.
Australia rules by the way!!!!

Besides, if it was anything like that, the thing wouldn't run well enough to drive it away.
It would probably have run fine on one rotor, but you'd certainly hear the difference and there would be a lot more flames from the hot, un-burned fuel hitting the atmosphere.

Slanderous lies!
I thought that this event was neat, until I a) found that they're looking to make burnout competitions a legit sport, and b) saw this.
Freaking awesome. When's the GRM road trip? Can we hire Aussie and Luke for tour guides?
Another reason to love Australia, this V8 Subaru Brat came up in the related videos. Something good must be in the water down there.
