Fun times there are reports that Russia has decided it needs to expand its naval influence again and it is planning on establishing bases in Cuba, Vietnam and Seychelles. They are talking about building "strategic partnerships" with these governments. Viet Nam so far is saying it has no interest in allowing a Russian military base. Cuba I am sure will welcome them with open arms.
I bet there are already people planning out their new bunkers just like ma and pa had back in the 60's. Some of the "fringe" sites are reporting that some of the locations are already receiving shipments under the radar.

I doubt Russia has the financial clout or resources of the old USSR.
We got this .....

Something that covers the 90 miles from Miami to Havana.
Actually I don't recall.
Isnt this good news for Cuba so they will have access to more Russian cars to supply parts for 1950s American ones?

Yep they can replace their old Chevy with this.

Seems like they are retaliating from their poor showing at the Olympics.

Cuba has a lot more cars than just pre embargo Yank iron. In the background of almost any cuban classic car pic there is almost always a modern european or asian car.

Lots of Peugeots for some reason
Peugeots = French = Commies?
