As far as current idol worship, the statue is a bit tarnished. The buffing team is already at work but it may take a lot more than 20 months of spin to remove the canker.

Yes i agree, Beck and Palin need a good bit more PR work to remove the damage they've done to themselves in the past few years.

Glad you guys dig the book. I think the author gets a little too philosophical at some points which makes the book a mind work out to read. The pay off is well worth it.
Also, his points are WELL worth considering.

Couldn't agree more. The pie-eating televangelist and the tundra-twit have passed their sell-by dates.
OTOH, neither are accountable for two years of unpopular legislation, double-down deficit spending and an image of non-plussed detachment.
