And, yes, if I had a Rivian, I'd totally get this update.
It's a shame that GM didn't come out with an EV Camaro in time to incorporate an update like this. I'd totally dig it.

Well, KITT was also a 1957 Chevy Belair. That seemed like sacrilege at the time. And a modded '91 Dodge Stealth. And a Mustang GT500KR, with the best Attack mode ever, that could also transform into an F150. Or a van, or a Crown Vic.
I like the Rivian, but is it armed? And submersible? On-board 3D printer? If not, seems like a downgrade.

They have an extraordinary wading depth, and I can totally see an onboard 3D printer being added by some nerd. Guys who want to arm pickups are more likely to get a Tacoma or a Cybertruck, depending on how much of the armament is meant for actual use vs posing.

Pretty sure KITT was a 1982 Pontiac Trans Am.
Was there an earlier version?
Love the commercial!

Yes, in addition to the original 1982 Trans Am, there have been many spin-offs and movies, which is what I was referring to.

Just for clarity, there is another Rivian "costume" update that mimics the DeLorean interior screens and the Flux Capacitor. Or a scarecrow theme.
