I'm taking the Total Control ARC with Lee Parks in May and I need a place to hole up the night before where I can safely park a bike and expect it to be there in the AM.
Any of you OH types in the area have a recco?

Youngstown is a border town with Sharon, PA.
I'd probably recommend the PA side.
Some Googling...
Are you at The Harley Davidson in in Austintown,OH?
If yes, there are hotels right next door that are reasonably respectable like a Hampton, Country Inn, or Fairfield Marriot.
Where are you coming from?

This. Youngstown, warren, niles are all pretty trashy
I've stayed months at a time at the Hampton at 4400 Belmont, it is somewhat landlocked by a cemetery so it's not easy for someone looking for trouble to get into and out of.
Have you checked with the event planners to see if they're going to have a homebase hotel with protected parking? I am from this area. The area in question is a truckstop/ Casino crowd. While crime is no where as bad as Niles and Warren Ohio, it can be sketchy at times because of said guests. I would not recommend Belmont Avenue. If event planners have nothing set up, I would recommend Canfield Oh
io. It's about 15 minutes south of Austintown. Canfield is a little more upscale and pretty well protected.
Someday I'll figure out how to post a web site. Hope this helps. Courtyard by Marriott Canfield - 330-533-6880
Hampton Inn & suites Canfield - 330-702-1900
Sorry I can't offer a home stay over but the next several months I'm unsure of my health / surgery situation.
Find out where the actual event is, but I did a search on airbnb can came up with this great place: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/18138044?checkin=2017-05-20&checkout=2017-05-21&s=aozC8B5b
You are minutes from Austintown and $85/night seems like a deal if you get her to let you park in the garage.
In reply to John Welsh :
Yes, that's the place. I booked the Hampton right near by and called to ask if I could park on the sidewalk in front under the canopy and they said sure. So... That seems fine enough.
I'm riding in from NE PA, about a seven hour ride with gas, food and stretch breaks. Could probably rip it in 5 if we could suspend the law and my bladder for a time.

That is a strange non-sequitur... except looking at the map I see why you mentioned it.
Oddly enough, my good friend and racing team partner was the original manager of that Sharon location.
