I'm getting nicely acquainted with this nice forum, and so I thought I should have members acquainted with me as well. If you don't know, I'm Salman and recently just bought an MR2. I also currently own a 96 Infiniti I30
That being said, I am into automotive photography but occasionally like to photograph subjects other than cars. My camera battery is toast, so my work is on stand by for now but I do appreciate feedback.
Here is my work:
My car on the right ^__^
I've talked with people who've been doing medical relief down in Haiti, and it's about the last place I'd ever visit.
Do you know Ziggy or were you just snappin' pics?
In reply to DoctorBlade:
It's unfortunate how the world has batted an eye from Port Au Prince, they are in need of serious help. That being said, haitians are great people and the people I interacted with and the places I went showed that there is progress occurring. Slowly, but it is occurring.

I was snapping pics
I know him now :)
Good shots, Sal. I'm from the school of "Take 1000 pictures with the digital and maybe three will look good" school of photography.
I'm surprised this hasn't turned into a seriously informed discussion about photography and gone right over my head already.
In reply to Brett_Murphy:
Thanks! I'm actually from that school as well ;)
I'm learning new techniques and terminology as my work keeps compiling.
You have some of yours to share?
Good shots, but let me make one suggestion: fill flash. The front of a car is its face, so always make sure it is properly exposed.
Here's one of my photos. Gratuitous use of fill flash in almost everything I shoot, to the point of me overdoing it. But it's safer than bumping up your exposure when you are shooting in a hurry.

Wow that's awesome! Alright Tom I'll give it a shot next time I go out
Went to car meet with some friends. Using my school's garbage Nikon Coolpix L120. Pic quality is not great, and Did not feel like taking many pictures but here yeh...
Love that tag, welcome Sal
Some shots over the past few days:
Doug's 944 S2
Chase's ugly BMW
Mohsin's E92 M3
A bit glary
Watermarks are your friend. Unless of course you dont want credit.
With some friends, went to philly for cheesesteak. Here are some of the shots I found decent:
Ehhh a bit cut off
After the "E36 M3ty Craiglist Pictures " thread, this is a breath of fresh air. Nice work.
This is still my favorite photo of all of the thousands I've taken.
