The wall of a Morton Salt storage building on the north side of Chicago collapsed, which buried several cars at the Acura dealer next door in a huge mound of salt.

Do they still put that gigantic gaudy chrome band across the front and rear of the Acuras? I remember when the original Integra and Legend were quite popular. I think they're still decent cars, but the styling surely isn't helping them sell.
Thankfully Acura only sells forgettable appliances at this point so I doubt anyone cares.
1988Red: Yes, they're only getting uglier.
I'm shocked that a 6" thick brick wall couldn't hold up to that much salt pushing against it.. just absolutely shocked..

Give them a couple more years and they'll all look just like that one.
Honestly though, I'm shocked at how well our '09 Fit is doing. There's not a bit of rust yet, and we're going on 6-years of daily use, 150,000 miles, never garaged, and probably hasn't been washed in 2 or 3 years. My '07 Accent is surprisingly un-rusty too, and it's been treated way worse than the Fit. It seems like at least some manufacturers are finally figuring out how to prevent/delay corrosion.
