1959 Challenger, 285 ft. lbs. of torque
1969 Challenger, as much as 490 ft. lbs.
1982 Challenger, 500,000 lbs. thrust
1986 Challenger, 187 ft. lbs.
Surprised nobody has brought this one up yet...
1953 - a whopping 150hp 6cyl, 2 speed auto trans. 0-60 in a glacial 11 seconds. It would get whipped by a Honda Fit.
2015 - 650hp monsterous and snorting V8, every day civilized, and can keep up with "exotics" costing twice its' price.

Remember your history. Back in 1965 the Porsche faithful were nashing their teeth in anguish as the new 911 was just a big fat bloated GT car compared to their beloved small light weight 'real' Porsches. I'm with Keith on this one. The ethos and execution is exactly the same given 50 years of technology, safety, emissions and customer’s needs.

I have to disagree on this one.
This is the first GTR
And it could be argued this is the successor to the Skyline lineage

Wow, there must be some rule that states the name Lancer can only be given to spectacularly ugly cars.

You forgot one.
I would suggest including names with the pictures...some of the Japanese cars above I can't identify, either the new or old versions.
