I know we don't exactly live in the land of curvy bliss, but with the new car I am dying to get out and stretch its legs a bit on some (for our area) fun roads. Anyone around SE Michigan up for a curvy road drive sometime before the white stuff flies? Anyone know the best kept secrets around here?

I think it would be fun to get some GRM'ers together to meet up for breakfast, then drive for a few hours, lunch somewhere and depart.

Anyone in?

If I haven't sold the dang 318ti when this gets lined up I could be in. Sounds like fun. Not that I know any good driving roads

The best driving road in SE MI that I know of is East Lansing Kart Track. I'm going there Sunday. Pay the entry fee and cover the gasoline and you can drive one of my karts.

There's the Car and Driver loop north of Chelsea. Just watch outfit for police since they know the roads are used for spirited driving.

W. Huron River Rd from Ann Arbor to Dexter used to be a nice ride.  I'll bet it's been 15 years since I've driven it.

You have to build the route a little bit yourself since C&D doesn't completely give away the secret. https://www.caranddriver.com/news/2015-10best-cars-secrets-of-our-test-route-revealed

The Southern most point seems to be here

Basically near Pickney State park staying West of Hell, MI

It's a beautiful drive, but 25mph speed limit and just enough traffic to prevent any spirited driving.

The roads out in Waterloo and Pinkney recreation areas would do you just fine.  I don't live in the area anymore but I know the back roads of Chelsea very, very well.  It's home.
